Policies
CONTRACT
IYNA presents each client with a contract detailing the makeup services to be provided, the total cost, retainer, trial fee and balance amounts. Clients may sign thier contract in-person, or IYNA will email it to them to sign online. Any changes to signed contracts are detailed in a contract addendum, which clients may also sign in-person or online.
BALANCE
Balances are due before makeup service starts on event day. Payments on event day are CASH only. Balances are always non-refundable.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts are applied to makeup services only, and are subtracted from the balance owed. Discounts cannot be combined or transferred.
PAYMENTS
IYNA accepts cash and major credit/debit cards in-person; you may also pay online using your bank account or your Visa/MasterCard card. Personal checks and money orders are NOT accepted. Email receipts are issued for every transaction. Click HERE to pay online.
CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel your booking with IYNA at any time. Retainers will be fully refunded if you cancel 60 or more days before your event. Cancellations made less than 60 days before event forfeit the entire retainer.
ARTIST’S UNAVAILABILITY
In the highly unlikely event that your IYNA artist is unable to service you on event day (due to emergencies including and not limited to accidents, severe illness, extreme personal/family distress, natural disasters, or acts of God), IYNA will contact a reputable artist to provide said services (at no extra cost), or refund all monies paid to date (excluding makeup trial fees and applicable travel surcharges). IYNA shall not be held liable for any of the results of this very unlikely occurrence.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES FOR GROUP SITUATIONS
The following policies apply whenever a group of people are receiving IYNA’s services, and one group member has signed a contract with IYNA.
IYNA accepts payments only from clients with a Contract. Group members (e.g. bridesmaids) that are paying for themselves should coordinate with the client (e.g. bride) to send their payments in to IYNA.
If more people are added to a group after the client has paid the retainer, the client must pay $25/addition ASAP for time to be reserved for them on event day. Their balances are due on or before event day. If group members dropout less than 60 days before event, IYNA will keep their retainers.
If, due to group lateness, makeup application exceeds the END time on the client’s contract, IYNA will not continue working unless (1) the makeup artist has time to spare, and (2) the client prepays for extra time at $100/hour (cash only).
The Makeup Service Location (as detailed in Client Contract) is the only place where makeup services will be provided on event day. Additional locations require separate contracts. The client must ensure that everyone receiving makeup services is present at the makeup service location within the time slot detailed on the Client Contract.
